Tuesday October 13rd 7:00 PM

A Celebration of Italian and American Music. 

​

Our October 2026 concert will be a special celebration of Italian culture in America and the richness of American music, bringing together two great musical traditions in an evening filled with passion, beauty, and unforgettable melodies. We are honored to welcome an extraordinary ensemble of guest vocalists: tenors Salvatore Minopoli and Rafael Cavero, soprano Samantha Barnes Daniel, and baritone Sean Stork. Together, these exceptional artists will take us on a musical journey through some of the most magical and beloved moments of Italian and American music, celebrating the cultural connection between Italy and the United States through the universal language of music. It will be an evening dedicated to great voices, great composers, and the timeless music that continues to unite our two cultures.

Friday November 20th 7:00 PM

In November 2026, The Villages Philharmonic will present George Frideric Handel’s Messiah, Part I, HWV 56. This extraordinary oratorio, composed by Handel in 1741, celebrates the prophecy of Christ’s coming, His birth, and the story of the Nativity. The performance will feature outstanding guest soloists together with the Orlando Opera Chorus, joining The Villages Philharmonic for an inspiring evening of great voices, powerful choral writing, and Handel’s timeless Nativity music.

A Celebration of the Holiday Season.

In December 2026, The Villages Philharmonic will celebrate the music and traditions that make the holiday season such a special time of year. This festive concert will bring people together in the warmth of a family-style celebration, filled with beautiful music, cherished holiday traditions, and the joyful spirit of the season. We are delighted to welcome an extraordinary group of guest artists: sopranos Alexandra Molnar and Marcella Richardson , tenon Mark Antonio de Villiers, Norman Lee Schaffer , and baritone Sean Stork. Together with The Villages Philharmonic, these exceptional artists will create a memorable evening celebrating the warmth, joy, and togetherness of the holiday season.

Shostakovich and Tchaikovsky

​

In January 2027, The Villages Philharmonic will present an extraordinary program featuring two great masterpieces of the Russian musical tradition. We are honoured to welcome guest soloists trumpeter John DePaola and pianist Antonio Pompa-Baldi for Dmitri Shostakovich’s Concerto for Piano and Orchestra, a work of remarkable brilliance, energy, and virtuosity. The program will be complemented by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No.4 in F minor, one of the composer’s most powerful and deeply expressive symphonies, filled with dramatic intensity, emotional depth, and unforgettable melodies. It will be an evening celebrating two monumental composers and the extraordinary power of orchestral music. 

​Saturday February 13rd 7:00 PM

A Romantic Celebration

 

In February 2027, The Villages Philharmonic will present a romantic celebration of American and film music, featuring beloved works by John Williams alongside highlights from Broadway. The evening will feature virtuoso violin performances by guest violinist Gennaro Desiderio. It will be an intimate and magical evening, filled with warmth and musical charm.

The Soul of Music: Beethoven

 

The Villages Philharmonic will celebrate the soul of music through the monumental genius of Ludwig van Beethoven, presenting two of his most extraordinary and enduring masterpieces. The program will feature Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 1, performed by our distinguished international guest pianist and soloist Luigi Borzillo. The evening will culminate with Beethoven’s monumental Symphony No. 9, performed for soloists, chorus, and orchestra, featuring extraordinary guest vocalists from Opera Orlando and the Opera Orlando Chorus. This powerful concert will celebrate Beethoven’s timeless musical language, a journey from the brilliance and elegance of his piano concerto to the profound human spirit expressed in his Ninth Symphony.

​Thursday April 1st 7:00 PM

In April 2027, The Villages Philharmonic will present an elegant program celebrating two of the great masters of the Romantic era. Frédéric Chopin and Franz Schubert. The program will feature Chopin’s Piano Concerto No. 1 in E minor, performed by guest pianist Francesco Maria Navelli with The Villages Philharmonic. The evening continues with Franz Schubert’s Symphony No. 4, a remarkable work that reveals the young composer’s dramatic imagination, lyrical beauty, and extraordinary orchestral voice. Together, these two masterpieces will create an unforgettable evening celebrating the poetry, passion, and timeless beauty of Romantic music.

​Saturday May 15th 7:00 PM

The Most Magical Moments of Opera

 

The Villages Philharmonic will bring its season to a magnificent close with a spectacular Opera Gala dedicated to The Most Magical Moments of Opera. This extraordinary evening will celebrate the beauty, passion, and emotion of the operatic stage, featuring outstanding international vocal artists performing some of the most beloved arias, romances, and unforgettable scenes from the operatic repertoire. From the most intimate and moving melodies to the grandest dramatic moments, this special concert will take our audience on an unforgettable musical journey through the world of opera. A celebration of extraordinary voices, timeless melodies, and the magic of the human spirit, this Opera Gala will be a fitting and inspiring finale to another remarkable season of The Villages Philharmonic.
