Tenor Rafael Cavero born in Lima-Peru from an Italian Peruvian family, started his studies in vocal techniques in Peru. He won a full scholarship in 2000 for the “Schwob School of Music” at Columbus State University (USA) given by the “Woodruff Foundation”. Traveled to Milan-Italy 2003 to study with Professor Vittorio Terranova. Moved to Munich-Germany in 2005 to improve his vocal technique with Professor Saverio Suárez-Ribaudo.
He performed a variety of roles like: “Alfredo” in G. Verdi’s Traviata (Italian
and German language), “Don José” in G. Bizet’s Carmen (High Lights), “Pinkerton” in G. Puccini's Madame Butterfly (Italian
and German language), “Macduff” in G. Verdi's Macbeth, “Ismaele” in G. Verdi's
Nabucco, “der Erster Geharnischter Mann” in Mozart ́s Zauberflöte,“Candide” in L. Berstein's Candide, “Don Ottavio” in Mozart's Don Giovanni. In Lima-Perú in the role of “Giuseppini” in the Zarzuela El duo de la Africana.
He sang in prestigious Concert Halls, including: Herkulessaal (Munchener
Symphoniker), Prinzregententheater, Cuvilliés-Theater in Munich, Rheinische Philharmonie in Koblenz (Staatsorchester Rheinische Philharmonie), Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts (Orlando Fl. USA), Concert Hall Nybrokajen 11 in Stockholm, Segura Theater Lima-Perú (Lima National Symphony).
During his entire career Rafael Cavero has performed not only opera, but also sang other different styles like crossover, in Latin American music and international music with orchestra in Austria, Germany, USA, Italy, Perú, Chile, Bahamas and Africa, performing in more than 600 concerts.
He is a member of the AGV “Akademiker Gesang Verein” (acronym for the Academic Singing Association abbreviation in German) in Munich Germany. Mr. Cavero has been a frequent guest on radio and television stations like: Telemundo, Unision, Mundo Fox (Orlando Fl. USA), BR, SWR, RTL (Germany), Chanel 2, 4, 5, 7 and Andina TV (Lima-Perú).
In 2016 Rafael Cavero founded Global Kultur Entertainment Group in Orlando Fl., company specialized in organizing musical concerts in all its forms and styles with highproduction standards.
