About 

Mezzo-soprano Emily Heumann is gaining recognition for her "delicious vocals" (Arts and Culture Texas Magazine) and "credible" storytelling (Orlando Sentinel). Emily has performed with dozens of companies across the United States and Europe in recital, opera, musical theatre, cabaret, oratorio, and new music programs. Recent highlights include Véronique in Bizet's Le docteur Miracle with First Coast Opera, Lydia in the workshop of Curtis Tucker's Penelope Ann's Revenge, Love in the Afternoon with The Howey Mansion Music Series, Harmony: Tolerance and Acceptance with St. Petersburg Opera Company, Mezzo Soloist in Eric Heumann's new oratorio, The Book of Revelation, Cherubino in Le nozze di Figaro with First Coast Opera and Opera Orlando, Mrs. Noye in Noye’s Fludde with Opera Orlando, and Hansel in a critically acclaimed production of Hansel and Gretel with Rec Room Arts Houston. Emily currently lives in Ocala, where she is on the voice faculty at The College of Central Florida.
